SMR UK featured in Agg-Net and Brett Aggregates News

We’re proud to be featured in industry coverage from Agg-Net and Brett Aggregates, highlighting our collaboration with Brett’s Hithermoor Recycling Facility near the M25.
Their ‘tip and take’ service at Hithermoor uses SMR UK’s specially formulated binder, SMR Eco, to transform screened excavated spoil into a high-performance, fully compliant reinstatement material – known as SMR Premixd, an NFSMR.
“By treating excavated spoil in this way, we can divert tonnes of material from landfill, reduce imported aggregate usage, and cut reinstatement costs by up to £38 per cubic metre,” said Andrew Bareham, Director at SMR UK.
The process not only supports circular economy principles but also provides a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to traditional sub-base materials, meeting full SROH specification.
Brett Aggregates’ Hithermoor site offers a one-stop solution for contractors, where they can tip waste and collect reinstatement materials from a single, conveniently located hub serving infrastructure projects across West London.
