Producing SMR PreMixd

SMR PreMixd is produced by mixing our patented binder, SMR Eco with spoil to create the following;

  • Hydraulically Bound Materials (HBM) as per BS EN 14227
  • Hydraulically Bound Materials as per the Specification for Highways Works vol. 1, 800 series
  • Stabilised capping/fill materials as per the Specification for Highways Works, Vol.1, 600 series
  • SROH NFSMR (Non Flowable Structural Material for Reinstatement + TMF (Treated Material for Fill)

SMR PreMixd is produced in accordance withthe WRAP Quality Protocol (QP)

Recycling facilities have the option to use our machine hire service to produce SMR PreMixd.

  • Recycling facilities can offer their utility customers a tip-and-take service.
  • It is required for recycling facilities to become an Approved PreMixd Distributor to offer the product to third parties

Utility contractors can either produce material in-house using our campaign mixing/ machine hire service or adopt a tip-and-take model through a local Approved PreMixd Distributor.
